Category and Location Tooltip

When you select the Show category and location tooltips on appointment book option in the General tab of the Appointment Scheduling Preferences window, a tooltip appears when you point the mouse over a time slot in the Appointment Book window. The tooltip is available in Daily view, Weekly Schedule view and Multi-View and displays the following information:

• Appt Start Time
• Resource
• Category
• Location

If a template is set up in scheduling administration to enable a time slot to be overbooked, the tooltip for that time slot in the Appointment Book window displays the number of scheduled appointments and the number of remaining appointments that can be scheduled.

For example, a time slot is set up in a template to enable three appointments. When the first appointment is scheduled in the slot, the tooltip displays 1/3 beside the category name. When the second appointment is scheduled in the slot, the tooltip displays 2/3 beside the category name. When the third appointment is scheduled, the tooltip no longer displays any number beside the category name.
