Memorize a System Generated Report

In the following example, the Batch Listing report is used to explain the process of memorizing a report. Note: Memorizing a report only saves the parameters of the report, not the actual data. From the main toolbar select the Posting button. The Batch Listing window opens. Select the Open Menu icon and select Print and then select Batch Listing. The Batch Listing report generates and displays. Select the Report Filter toolbar button. The Report Filter: Batch Listing window appears. Select on the applicable tabs and set the report filter criteria. This functionality works the same as the other reports in the application. Select OK. The report regenerates based on the filter criteria. Select the Memorize Report toolbar button. The Memorize Report window opens. Create and enter a name for the report in the Save As field. Select the drop-down arrow in the Report Type field and then select the applicable type of report. In the Allowed to Run field, select the user allowed to run this repor

Memorizing System Generated Reports

On any report that displays after a process runs, such as the Batch Listing report or the Claim Production Status report, you can memorize the format of the report (if you have the security for Memorized System Level Reports). For system generated reports, you must first complete the process that generates the report. After the report displays on the window, you can: Use the report filter to change the format of the report. Have the system memorize the report. The next time the same process runs, the application uses the memorized report to display the report in the format you saved. Access NextGen® Enterprise PM or File Maintenance and then select a report to memorize. The Report Filter window opens. From the Settings List, select the desired columns, filters, and sorting for the report. Do one of the following: To generate the report before memorizing it, select OK. Restricting Access to Memorized Reports

Access to memorized reports is controlled by the user group security settings in System Administrator. The Operation rights that apply to memorized reports are: Access All Memorized Reports- Enables users to view, run, and modify any memorized report secured to another user. When set to Yes, it overrides the Memorized Report Modification, Memorized Report Run, and Memorized Report Save rights. Memorized Report Modification- Enables users to define the users and security groups that can modify memorized reports. Memorized Report Run- Enables users to define the users and security groups that can run and print memorized reports. Enables users to access the Reports icon for "memorized" reports. Memorized Report Save- Enables users to save memorized reports. Memorized System Level- Enables users to memorize System Generated reports that are automatically produced after a process is run (for example, Claim Production Status, Batch Listing, Bad Debt). Work with a Saved or Memorized Report

You can generate and work with any reports that have been previously created and memorized (saved). From the Main menu, select File > Reports > Report List. The Memorized Reports window opens. Memorized Reports Select the Report Type. Select a report you wish to generate and double-click it. The Report Filter window opens. CAUTION: If the Limit EHR reporting to only preferred locations check box has been selected in System Administrator and your preferred locations settings are different from the memorized report's location settings, a warning message displays. If you wish to continue, select Yes. If you do not wish to generate the report, select No. If no additions or changes are required, select OK to generate the report. Note: You do not need to re-save the report. To add or change any previously selected filters: Update the filter information or make any other changes. To save the updated information, select Save. You can also change any of the other parameters, such as Report Name
