Attach Sliding Fee to a Patient or Person

You can set up the sliding fee schedule master file and sliding fee preferences.
  1. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, on the Estimated Patient Cost window, select a patient or person who you want to perform the cost estimation for.
  2. In the Patient/Guarantor Information section, select .
    The Modify Patient Information window opens.
  3. Select the UDS tab.
  4. In the Sliding Fee Schedule Verification section, select the open menu , and select New.
    The Sliding Fee Verification window opens.

  5. Select the Sliding Fee Schedule for the patient or person.
  6. Select the effective and expiration dates for the sliding fee schedule.
  7. In the Head of Household Family Information section, select the open menu , and select New.
    The Family Info window opens.

  8. Type or select the family size of the person or patient. The default value is 1.
  9. Type the income of the person's or patient's household. The default value is $0.00.
  10. Select the income cycle.
  11. If the head of household refuses to provide income information, select Refused to Report .
  12. Select the date when the family information is verified.
  13. Select the effective and expiration dates for the family information.
  14. Select OK.
    The changes are saved, and the Family Info window closes.
  15. On the Sliding Fee Verification window, select OK.
