Assign Practice Access to a Program

The Programs master file is a system-level table. Therefore, all programs can potentially be accessed by any practice in any enterprise.

If your enterprise includes multiple practices, you can use the Practice Access option to define which practices have access to each program. For example, Practice A and Practice B both provide services under Program XYZ, but Practice C does not. Therefore, only Practices A and B should have access to Program XYZ.

  1. Access File Maintenance.
  2. Select System Master Files, then PM, and then Programs.
    The Programs List window opens.
  3. From the list, select a program and then do one of the following:
    • Select Open Menu and then select Practice Access.
    • Right-click and then select Practice Access.
The Program Master Access by Practice window opens.
