Activate Auto Close
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice. The Practice Preferences window opens. From the Preference List, select General. Practice Preferences window with the General tab opened To turn on auto close, select the Auto-closing checkbox. To save changes and close the window, select OK. The Auto Close process occurs every night when the system calendar date changes on the database server. The Auto Close process records a Process Date for every charge that is entered during the day and every transaction posted during the day. Parent topic: Closing Out

Enable Programs
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences, and then Practice. The Practice Preferences window opens. From the Preference List, select Programs. Set Up Practice Preferences for Alerts
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice. The Practice Preferences window opens. Select the desired checkboxes to display the alerts in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Double-click a practice, and then select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens. In the Preference List, select the desired practice preference name.
