Significant Events for Real-Time Address Validation
You can turn on the real-time address validation feature by selecting one of the following significant events located in the Significant Event Information window: Address Changed through "Change of Address Update" Process Address Verified When you turn on real-time address validation, messages related to address validation can appear on the following reports: Patient Chart Demographics Patient Chart Demographics with Providers Account Summary The following columns appear on the reports: Valid Billing Address Valid Secondary Address The following data indicators appear on the reports: Y Address verified-accepted United States Postal Service (USPS) valid address N Address verified-accepted USPS valid address I Unable to Validate as an USPS Address (Invalid address) Blank Address did not go through the verification process Set Up Significant Events to Track Real-Time Address Validation You can track real-time address validation by selecting appropriate event preferences in the Significant

Activate Significant Events
In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Preferences > Significant Events. The Significant Events Information window opens and displays the following columns: Significant Events: Lists all the significant events the application tracks. Level: Specifies whether the application tracks significant events across the entire enterprise or system or for individual practices.
