Add a Significant Events Message to the Significant Events Report

In the Report Filter, select the Sig Events Msgs tab. Select Open File . The Significant Events Message window opens. To search for a message to include in the report, enter the search criteria in the Available field. Select the Search for keyphrase anywhere in this field check box if you want to see results that contain the phrase you are typing. To add a message, select the message in the Available list, then select . The message moves from the Available list to the Included list. To remove a message, select the message in the Included list, and then select . The message moves from the Included list to the Available list. Select OK. Configure Additional Filters for an Enhanced Report

In addition to Filter 1 and Filter 2, other filters in the Configuration Options list allow you to define criteria for narrowing down the data on a report. Data must match the defined criteria on all filters to appear on the report. Note: The additional filter options available for selection are different for each report. Access the Configuration Options window for the desired enhanced report. In the Configuration Options list on the left, select the desired filter. For example, Diagnosis Codes. The Filter window appears. To select specific filter items, select the Folder button in the upper-left corner of the window. The item selection window appears. To add filter items, select the items in the Available section on the left, and then select the right arrow button to move the items to the Included section on the right. Create a Significant Event Report

From the Main menu, select File > Reports > Significant Events. The Report Filter: Significant Events window opens. Select the Columns you wish to be displayed on the report. To search for a column name, select Find. The Find window opens. Enter a search term and select Find, if there is a match, it is selected in the list. To locate another instance of your search term, select Find Next. Select Filter 1 tab. Select the Create Date and Event Source to include. Repor Filter Select the Filter 2 tab. Specify additional criteria as needed. Report Filter Select the Practices tab. Select the Practices for which you want to generate Significant Event report. If necessary, select Open to display the Practices window. Select Creator tab. Select the user for which you want to generate Significant Event report. To narrow your search results, you can search by the Create date or Next action date option. Open the Management Plan Reporting template. To add a report filter, select a filter option from the left pane. You can select from the following filter options: Category Plan name Status Provider Location The filters for the selected filter option appear in the left column. To add a filter to the right column, do one of the following: Select an item in the left column and use the arrows between the grids to move the item to the right column. Significant Events Report

The Significant Events report provides an audit trail for specific user activity that has occurred within the NextGen Enterprise applications. These are known as significant events. When a significant event occurs, a message is recorded in each patient's chart. The message includes the name of the user that performed the event, the date/time the event occurred, and both pre-modification and post-modification information. Some significant events are System Level and are recorded for all practices in all enterprises. Other events are Enterprise Level and are recorded for all practices within the same enterprise. Other events are Practice Level and are recorded for the practice(s) in which they have been enabled. Significant Events can be enabled or disabled from the following applications: NextGen® Enterprise PM System Administrator All recorded system-level, enterprise-level and practice-level significant event messages are available for review on the Significant Events report.
