- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select .
The Practice Preferences window opens.
- Select Statements.
- Select one of the following:
- Dunning messages by Aging: Select this button if statement dunning messages are based on the age of the guarantor’s oldest patient balance.
Note: When the balance reaches 31 days, the message appears stating that the balance is more than 30 days past due, remit payment as soon as possible.
- Dunning messages by Statement Counter: Select this button if statement dunning messages are based on the guarantor’s account-level statement counter.
Note: If the statement counter is at 1 and you generate second statement, a message appears stating that this is your second statement. Your balance is now past due, remit payment as soon as possible.
- Select OK.
Dunning messages by Aging or Dunning messages by Statement Counter is selected on the Practice Preferences window.
