Column	Description
External ID	Lists the ID assigned to the external systems.
External System	Lists the external system that interfaces with the application.
Creator	Displays the name of the user who created the entry.
Create Date	Displays the date that the entry was created.

Providers System Tab

On the System tab, you can add a provider or modify provider details using the following field descriptions. Field Description Provider Payers This field lists payers and payer numbers added to the provider. After you add a provider, you should add values in the Provider Payers list. Taxonomy Code This field displays a default taxonomy code to classify providers according to type or specialty. Specialty Code1/ Specialty Code2 This field displays the provider's specialty codes. You can modify specialties in the Specialties master file. Provider Subgrouping 1/ Provider Subgrouping 2 (User-defined fields) This field displays provider subgrouping category types that you can use as reporting filters. To modify the information, you can refer to the Provider Subgrouping 1 and Provider Subgrouping 2 fields on the General tab of the Enterprise Preferences window. Add External Systems for Users

In the user details, the External tab enables you to add external systems that interface with NextGen® Enterprise applications and to associate those systems with the selected user. The External tab displays the following columns: Column Description External System Lists the external systems that were selected for the External System field when new external systems were added. These external systems interface with the NextGen application. External System ID Lists the IDs assigned to the external systems. External Record ID Lists the data entered for the External ID field when new external systems were added. Internal Record ID Lists the internal ID automatically assigned to the external ID. From the External tab, do one of the following: To add a new item, select open menu , and then select New. To modify an existing item, select the item in the list, select open menu , and then select Open. The Add External Interface window opens. In the External ID field, enter the ID that represents the resource in the external system. In the External System field, select the system to interface with the NextGen® Enterprise application. Do one of the following: To save changes and add another external system, select Next. To save changes and close the window, select OK. Set Up External Systems for an Event

The External tab on the Add Event or Edit Event window is used to add external systems that interface with NextGen® Enterprise PM, and to define a cross-reference for the event in NextGen® Enterprise PM to the event in the external system. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > Scheduling Admin. Note: When you select the Enable Enterprise Appointment Scheduling option in Practice Preferences window, the Scheduling Admin option on the Admin menu displays the following two options: Enterprise Practice The Scheduling Administration window opens. Select the Events tab. Right-click an event and select Open. The Edit Event window opens. Select the External tab.
