Prevent Plan Name Changes for Payers

You have the option to prevent a user from changing the Plan Name for a Patient by selecting an option in File Maintenance > Payers master file on the Defaults 2 tab of the Add/Modify Payer Information window.
  1. Open the Add/Modify Payer Information window, in File Maintenance > Payers > Payers List, select the applicable payer and double-click.
    The Modify Payer Information window appears.
  2. Select the Defaults-2 tab.

  3. To prevent a user from changing the Plan Name, select the Prevent modifying plan name on insurance maint check box.
  4. Select OK.
