Granting Practice Access
By default, enhanced forms are located within the practice for which they were created. They can be shared among other practices by granting practice access.

Before you create an enhanced form, you must have a least one form group created. To create a form, do the following: Access File Maintenance. Select System Master Files, then PM, and then Forms Enhanced. The Forms Enhanced window appears. In the Form Group field, select a form group. Note: You can select (All) Forms, but you will be prompted to select a form group upon saving. Right-click on a form group from the list that is displayed and select New. Select Blank Form. A blank form displays, allowing you to create the body of the form by entering and formatting text, inserting pictures, and selecting data repository fields as needed. Select Save after creating your form. In the New Form Template window, select a Form Group Name (if you did not do so previously), Form Name and Form Description. Note: You can only enter up to 40 characters for the Form Name and Form Description. Select OK. Notice the new form group in the list displayed. You can create forms in the Forms Enhanced window for electronic signatures, patient correspondences for documentation purposes and more customized options for alternate fee tickets and patient data sheets. Forms Enhanced also allows you to create form groups, allowing you to print multiple pages of a form and multiple forms at once. To create an Enhanced Form, you must first create at least one Form Group. The following are the Forms Enhanced fields: Form Group: Lists of new forms created and saved into groups; the groups can be used to categorize forms (for example, Consent Forms) or group them together form printing purposes (for example, New Patient Registration Forms). Form Name: Displays the name of the form. Form Description: Displays the form description. Show Hidden Forms: You can select Show Hidden Forms to view all the forms including hidden forms. By default, hidden forms are not displayed. Authored By: Displays who created the form as well as the date and time the form wasForms Enhanced

Form Groups enable you to categorize forms for organizational and printing purposes. You must create at least one Form Group before you can save an Enhanced Form. After a form group has been created, you can also edit, copy, hide, delete and unhide form groups. Open File Maintenance. Select Edit Form Group from the Forms Enhanced menu. Select New. Enter a name for the group. Select OK. Note: If All Forms is selected in the Form Group field, you are not able to modify the practice list displayed. The Programs master file is a system-level table. Therefore, all programs can potentially be accessed by any practice in any enterprise. If your enterprise includes multiple practices, you can use the Practice Access option to define which practices have access to each program. For example, Practice A and Practice B both provide services under Program XYZ, but Practice C does not. Therefore, only Practices A and B should have access to Program XYZ. Note: Multiple practices with access to the same program share all system-level parameters defined on the program System and Clinical tabs. In File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > Payers. The Payers List window opens. Right-click the applicable payer and then select Practice Access. The Payer Master Access by Practice window opens. Note: By default, all the practices listed on the Payer Master Access by Practice window are selected to allow access to all of the payers listed in the Payer master file. However, when a new payer is added, the practice in which the payer was created is the only one that has access to that payer. From the Practice list: Select the check boxes individually, next to the practices in the list, or right-click a practice and then select Select All option to allow specific practices to access the payer. Clear the check boxes next to the practices in the list to prevent specific practices from accessing the payer. Note: You must select at least one practice. Select OK.
