Modify or Clear an Esignature Tag
Select and right-click the System Esignature data field you want to modify, and then select Modify Esignature Tag. The Esignature Tag window opens. Modify the tag name and then select OK. Insert a System Esignature Data Field
Open a form from the Forms Enhanced window. In the Data Repository panel, expand the System Information data field group. Do one of the following: Drag the System Esignature data field and place it on the form. Place the cursor where you want to add the data field and double-click System Esignature data field. The <SystemEsignature> data field appears on the form. Note: When you save a form that contains at least one System Esignature data field, the Require Esignature check box in the Esignature Options group on the Home tab is automatically selected. Resize an Esignature Image
You can modify the Esignature image size within the Esignature Image Size window after enabling the Require Esignature check box in the Esignature Options group on the Home tab of the form. You must save the form with an Esignature data field to enable the Require Esignature check box. Open an existing form from the Forms Enhanced window. On the Home tab, in the Esignature Options group, select Esignature Size. The Esignature Image Size window opens. Do one of the following: In the Height box, enter the height of the electronic signature image in pixels to automatically adjust the width as per the aspect ratio. Clear the Auto Scale Height/Width check box and then enter the height and width of the electronic signature image in pixels in the Height and Width boxes respectively. Note: By default, the Auto Scale Height/Width check box is selected. For height, you can enter a minimum pixel value of 40 and a maximum value of 200. For width, you can enter a minimum pixel value of 80 and a max

Add an Esignature Tag
You can add an Esignature Tag to identify the individual who must sign the form. The maximum Tag Name length is 30 characters. Right-click the inserted System Esignature data field and then select Add Esignature Tag. The Esignature Tag window opens. In the Tag Name box, enter the name for the tag, and then select OK. System Esignature data field is suffixed with the @ symbol along with the tag name provided for that data field. Note: You cannot use the following characters or words in a Tag Name: @, |, ALL, Default, Default followed by a numeric value such as Default 1, {}, and any other symbols or special characters entered using shortcut keys. Setting up Electronic Signatures
The Electronic Signature feature in the Forms Enhanced master file enables you to add multiple System Esignature data fields to forms so that you can capture electronic signatures in NextGen® Enterprise PM. You can also modify the Esignature Image size, add an Esignature Tag, and modify or clear an Esignature Tag. Capture Electronic Signatures
You can capture electronic signatures on an enhanced form using an electronic signature pad. On the Print Forms window, Forms Enhanced tab, select a form that you want to sign and print. In the Copies section, enter the number of copies you want to sign and print. Select Preview. The form opens displaying the SIGN THIS DOCUMENT button above the form. Note: The SIGN THIS DOCUMENT button appears only if you have installed and configured an electronic signature pad and the form contains a System Esignature data field. Select SIGN THIS DOCUMENT. The NextGen PM Electronic Signature window appears. In the Esignature Tags panel, select an Esignature to sign. For example, Esignature 1 under the Patient esignature tag. Select Begin Capture to enable the electronic signature pad and activate the Capture Window section. If you are using an IntegriSign electronic signature pad, then a window opens displaying the Signer Name. You can sign and select OK to proceed. Sign on the electronic signature p
