Bulk Orderables List
window opens.
Select the menu
button, and then select
New
.

Bulk Orderable Tests
window opens.
To create or set up the bulk orderable, select
Search
.
The
Select Test
window opens.
Note:
Tests can only be added from the NG Compendium. If any test is not a part of the NGCompendium, it cannot be a part of the bulk orderable.
Select a
Lab
or
Diagnostics
test type, enter a description or key and select
Search
.
Note:
Wildcard searching is also supported. For example, you could enter the following in the description field:
lyn "blot
.
The results of your search appear in the
Results
section.
To display the test on the
Bulk Orderables Tests
window, select a test from the results list and select
Ok
.
The fields on the
Bulk Orderables List
window are grayed out.

Associate Diagnoses with Bulk Orderable Tests
Open File Maintenance. Select EHR Practice Master Files > Bulk Orderables. The Bulk Orderables List window opens. From the bulk order list, do one of the following: Select the bulk orderable and double-click to open it. Select the bulk orderable, select , and then select Open. The Bulk Orderable Tests window opens. Note: All fields display as grayed out except Custom Description. This is the only field that can be edited. Select to search for diagnoses to associate with the test you selected. The Diagnosis Search window opens. In the Search field, enter a description of the diagnosis, description code, or a wild card search and select Search. A list of diagnoses related to your search criteria opens in the Diagnoses section. Select a description and select Add to move it to the Diagnoses for Test section. Note: You can move up to a total of 12 diagnoses for a test. An error appears if you try to associate more than 12 diagnoses to a test. To move a diagnosis from Diagnoses for Test bac

Edit Bulk Orderable
Editing is allowed but limited only to the Custom Description field and the diagnoses associated with tests. Once a test has been set up as a bulk order, it cannot be edited or changed. The following cannot be edited or changed: Tests after they have been set up for a bulk order (grayed out: Test Key, Test Type, Test Description and User Description). The Search button is not displayed on the Bulk Orderable Tests window after the bulk order has been completed since no editing to the tests is accepted. Bulk Orderables - NextGen® Enterprise EHR Population Management Hub
Bulk Orderables is a practice master file that allows users of NextGen Care® Population Management Hub to create a bulk order of tests for patients called bulk orderables. You can add tests to your bulk orderables from the NGCompendium or you can add tests to the NGCompendium to be used in your bulk orderable if they do not already exist in the NGCompendium. Either way, tests that are used as a part of your bulk orderables must come from the NGCompendium. If a test is not a part of the NGCompendium, it cannot be used in a bulk orderable. You can search and associate required diagnoses for each test so they can also be set up as a part of your bulk orderable. In order to place a bulk orderable, you must be granted access in System Administrator > Operations permissions > NextGen Care Population Management Hub > Orderin. Order a lab test You can place lab test orders within the Orders module using the Create New Lab Order for Patient Name window. Lab tests can also be placed through a NextGen® Enterprise EHR template or from a bulk order generated through NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. Create Order Tests in File Maintenance
You can create an order test for a patient in File Maintenance. Open File Maintenance. Select Master Files > System > EHR. Select Order Tests. The Order Tests List window opens. ordeer_test_list_window Select the menu icon, and then select New. The Add Order Test Information window opens. In the Test Details tab, enter the following details: In System, select any option from the list. In house lab In Key, enter the order test key. In Description, enter a name for the new order test item. Note: The new order item must have a unique description and key. In Order Type, select Lab or Radiology. In Code System, enter the code system to use for this order. Add Order Test Information To link the NextGen compendium test key to the order test key, do the following: Select the open folder icon next to NextGen Compendium Test Key. Add Lab Tests in the Order Module
OpenNextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient and create an encounter. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Select All template, open Title X 2.0 template. On the Title X 2.0 template, expand the Testing and Results panel. Click the Orders Module link. The Order Module window opens. In the Orders Summary tab, click Labs. From the New menu, select Lab Order. The Create New Lab Order window for the selected patient opens. In Performing Entity, select Labcorp. In the Select Tests section, click Search All. The Search Tests window opens. In Test description,enter HIV, and then click Find. Select a relevant option from the search result, and then click OK. Click Save. The ordered lab details become available on the Title X 2.0 template and Order Management. Pare
button, and then select New.
