Contacts Maintenance
Use theContacts Maintenancemaster file to set up and maintain contact lens information. TheContacts Maintenancemaster file is made up of four tabs that are used to set up the lists for contact lenses. TheContacts Maintenancemaster file includes the following tabs: Material- a list of materials used in the construction of contact lenses by lens type categorized by water content, polymeric composition, and so on. Blend Type- a list of thermally consolidated blends used in non woven material for contact lenses. Replacement Schedule- a list of schedules used to indicate when the contact lenses should be replaced. Options- a list of options that you offer in your practice for contact lenses, such as Hybrids. To access theContacts Maintenancemaster file, from the Master Files - Optical Management list, selectContacts Maintenance. TheContact Maintenancewindow opens. Configuring Lens Information
The Lens Maintenance master file enables you to set up and maintain lens information. The Lens Maintenance window contains tabs that are used to define lens properties. The Lens Maintenance master file includes the following: Materials is a list of materials used in construction of lenses by lens type (single, bifocal, trifocal, and progressive). Styles is a list of lens styles. Charges is a list of charges associated with specific lens style and material combination. Tints is a list of tints that can be applied to lenses. Options is a list of options available, for example, coatings. SIM Mapping is a SIM code that applies to each listed item. Tint Gradients is a list of tint gradients your practice offers. Additional Lens Charges is a list of additional charges based on the strength of the prescription. Progressive Types is a list of progressive lens types your practice offers. Access Providers Master File
From File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > Providers. The Providers List window opens. Do one of the following: To add a provider, select Open Menu , and then select New. The Add Provider window opens. To access an existing provider, select a provider's name, select Open Menu , and then selectOpen. The Modify Provider Information window opens. Enter or modify provider information. Do one of the following: To save changes and then close the window, select OK. To close the window without saving changes, select Cancel. Access Online Profiles
