Create a CSC Library

This feature enables you to create a new Consolidated Services Claim (CSC) library. To create a new library, you must add the library name, effective date, expiration date, library description, and one or more payers. In File Maintenance, select Libraries > Consolidated Services Claim library. The Consolidated Services Claim List window opens. Select open menu button and select New. The Consolidated Services Claim Library Maintenance window opens. In the Consolidated Services Claim Library Name field, enter the name of the new library. Select open menu button and select New. The Consolidated Services Claim Maintenance window opens. Enter the following: Effective Date - The date the library is to become active. Expiration Date - The date the library becomes inactive. Description - The description for the new library. Double-click Open Folder . The Payers window opens. You must add one or more payers to the Included list to create a new CSC library. Access a Consolidated Services Claim Library

In File Maintenance, select Libraries > Consolidated Services Claim library. The Consolidated Services Claim List window opens. Highlight the applicable library, select open menu button : To open the library, select Open. Note: To hide the library, select Hide. If a library is attached to a Practice, the application issues an alert. You will not be able to hide the library until you remove the library from the practice on the Practice Preferences > Libraries. The Consolidated Services Claim Library Maintenance window opens. Hide a Service Package

You can hide a Service Package library in File Maintenance. When hidden, the library is not available for selection in Practice Preferences > Libraries. For example, if your practice has created a new Library ABC and no longer uses Library XYZ, you can hide the Library XYZ to prevent users from selecting it in Practice Preferences. Open File Maintenance. Select Libraries, and then Service Package. The Service Package List window opens. From the list, select a library and then do one of the following: Select open menu button and then select Hide. Right-click and then select Hide. A prompt appears asking you to confirm hiding the library. To confirm the hide, select Yes. The library is hidden and removed from the list. Parent topic: Service Package Library

Open File Maintenance. Select Libraries, and then Service Swap. The Service Swap List window opens. Select the service swap item, select the open menu icon, and then select Hide. The confirmation window appears. Select Yes to hide the selected Service Swap Library. The selected service swap library is no longer available to display the hidden libraries.
