Setup Default General Preferences - General Tab

The General user preferences enable you to make settings that have an impact on specific areas in NextGen® Enterprise PM, such as the main toolbar, mail, transactions and lookups. From the Default User Prefs - General List window, open a master file. The Default User Preferences - General window opens. Select the General tab. Setup Default General Preferences - Advisor Tab

The Advisor user preferences enable you to make settings that have an impact on the display of the Advisor window in NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Default User Prefs - General List window, open a master file. The Default User Preferences - General window opens. Select the Advisor tab. To automatically display the Advisor window after logging in toNextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Show upon logon check box. To automatically display the Advisor window after changing practices in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Show after practice change check box. In the list on the left, select the check boxes for sections to display on the left side of the Advisor window. In the list on the right, select the check boxes for sections to display on the right side of the Advisor window. To change the order that sections display on either sides of the Advisor window, select a section name in the list, and then select or buttons to move the section name. Default User Prefs

You can specify default user preferences settings in the Default User Prefs master files. After you apply the master files to individual users or to all users within a group, the settings become the default User Preferences in NextGen® Enterprise PM for those users. In addition, you can restrict users from changing the defaults.
