Field	Description
Limit Service Items	If any service is covered under the program, leave this section blank. If only specific services are covered under the program, select Open Record to access the Service Items window, and then do the following: To add SIM codes to the program, search and select codes from the Available list on the left, and then select the Right Arrow button to move the codes to the Included list on the right. To remove SIM codes from the program, select codes from the Included list on the right, and then select the Left Arrow button to move the codes to the Available list on the left. To save changes and close the window, select OK. Note: SIM codes are from the Service Items library in File Maintenance.
Limit Diagnoses	If any diagnosis is covered under the program, leave this section blank. If only specific diagnoses are covered under the program, select Open Record to access the Diagnosis Codes window, and then do the following: To add ICD codes to the program, search and select codes from the Available list on the left, and then select the Right Arrow button to move the codes to the Included list on the right. To remove ICD codes from the program, select codes from the Included list on the right, and then select the Left Arrow button to move the codes to the Available list on the left. To save changes and close the window, select OK. Note: ICD codes are from the ICDCM Codes master file in File Maintenance.
Limit Provider Credentials	If providers with any credential can render services under the program, leave this section blank. If only providers with specific credentials can render services under the program, select Open Record to access the Credentialing Type window, and then do the following: To add credentials to the program, search and select credentials from the Available list on the left, and then select the Right Arrow button to move the codes to the Included list on the right. To remove credentials from the program, select credentials from the Included list on the right, and then select the Left Arrow button to move the codes to the Available list on the left. To save changes and close the window, select OK. Note: Credentials are from the Credentialing master list in File Maintenance. Credentials are assigned to rendering providers on the Credentialing tab in the Providers master file.
Limit Age	If patients of any age are covered under the program, leave these fields blank. If only patients within a specific age range are covered under the program, enter the age range between 0 and 255.

Add or Remove Diagnosis Codes

You can add or remove the diagnosis codes in the ICD-CM section on the Estimate Patient Cost window. When you add or remove diagnosis codes for existing estimates and submit the cost estimation, a cost estimate with a new cost estimation ID is created. Open the Estimate Patient Cost window for a person, patient, encounter, or appointment. In the ICD-CM section, select open record . The Diagnosis Selection window opens. In ICD-CM Codes, do one of the following to search for the desired diagnosis code. To search by code, select Code, and enter all or part of the code. To search by description, select Description, and enter all or part of the description of the code. Note: Select the Search for keyphrase anywhere in the diagnosis check box to list the codes that have the entered search criteria anywhere in the code or description. Update Codes from the ICD Master File

Use this procedure to add ICD codes from the master file into the selected library. This process gives you the option of importing either the ICD-9 or ICD-10 codes from the master file into the selected library. You can choose to enter codes by category by using the ICD and Thru ICD codes, the date the codes are to become effective, or the expiration date. In the File Maintenance, open Libraries > Diagnosis Codes > select the desired library. The Diagnosis Code Library Maintenance window opens. In the ICD field, select the Question Mark icon. The ICD-CM Code Search window opens. Search for the ICD code. Right-click on the code and select Update Eff/Exp Dates. The Update Eff/Exp Dates window opens. Complete the fields on the Update Eff/Exp Dates window. For more information, refer to Update Eff/Exp Dates Field Descriptions. Select OK.
