To add a service category, perform the following steps:
- From , select Open Menu
and select New.
The Add Service Category Information window appears.
- Enter a name for the new Category.
- Enter a description up to four characters for Short Description.
- You can Hide a service category. Select Hide to not display this service category.
Note: All service categories are listed when Service Categories is selected from Master Files. Selecting a service category will display a list of SIMs associated with the category on a
practice-specific level.
So, when any existing service category is opened, it displays SIMs available for the logged in practice only. When adding new SIMs, only practice-specific SIMs are allowed to be added.
