Demand Letter	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to access Letters toolbar button to print individual on-demand collection letters.
Demand Statement	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to access the Statements toolbar button to print individual on-demand statements.
Override Detail Information on Statement	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to change the detail information on statements by allowing them to select the Display Detail Information on Statement check box on the General tab of the Patient Statement window. Note: You might not want users to be able to change the format of a statement if the statements must be exported in a specific format to a third-party company. If the third-party company receives a file in the wrong format, they may not be able to process it.
Print Letters	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to print all types of letters in batches from the File > Print Forms menu.
Print Statements	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to print batch statements from the File > Print Forms menu.
Statement Counter	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to reset the Statement Counter to zero for an account on the Properties tab. If the right is set to No, the Reset button does not display.
Statement Late Fee Process	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Enables users to access the Late Fee button to add late fees to past due patient balances before they batch print statements.

Charge Entry Operation

Subgroup Used in Description Apply Charge Discount NextGen® Enterprise PM Enables users to access the Charge Discount screen from Charge Entry. Charge Price Override NextGen® Enterprise PM Enables users to override (change) the fee for a procedure when they enter charges regardless of the amount. Note: You can prevent overrides for a specific service item by selecting the Prevent charge amount overrides check box on the Service Items Library Maintenance window > General tab regardless of the permission set for either of the Charge Price Override security rights. Print or Export a Patient Statement from the Charge or Payment Window

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. To open the Patient Statement window from the Charge Posting window, do the following: Select Charges. The Charge Posting window opens. Select the patient and encounter. Select Print Menu, and then select Statement. The Patient Statement window opens. To open the Patient Statement window from the Payment Entry window, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Posting. The Batch Posting window opens. Select the batch, and then right-click and select Open. The Payment Entry window opens. Select Statement from the menu. The Patient Statement window opens. The default settings on the Patient Statement > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Print or Export a Patient Statement from the Patient Chart

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Chart. The Patient Lookup window opens. Enter Search Criteria to locate the desired patient. Select Find. From the search results in the Matching Records section, double-click to open the patient. The Patient Chart window opens. From the main toolbar, select the Statements button. The Patient Statement window opens. The default settings on the Patient Statement > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Note: The Enterprise, Practice, Location and Provider filter tabs are not available when printing an individual demand patient statement. Do one of the following: To print the statement, select Print. To create an ASCII export file to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export. Subgroup Used in Description Bulk Rebill NextGen® Enterprise PM Enables users to flag encounters for rebill in bulk from the Claim Request Lookup window. When the right is set to No, the option to flag the encounters is disabled. Note: The Claim Search right must be set to Yes so that users can access the Claims toolbar button. Claim Edits NextGen® Enterprise PM Enables users to run claim edits for charges on an encounter to check for errors - it does not bill the encounter. When this right is disabled for a user who uses Autoflow, Autoflow stops when it reaches claim edits. Claim Search NextGen® Enterprise PM Enables users to use the Claims toolbar button to access the Claim Request Lookup window where they can print, regenerate, and rebill claims.
