Sort Treating Diagnoses
The Treating Dx grid show diagnoses in the order they will appear in on the claims form. You can sort the order of the items in the Treating Dx grid, to put the most relevant items for today’s encounter at the top. Select the Sort DX button. The NTS Diag Sort window opens. The top grid in this window shows all diagnosis in their current order. NTS Diag Sort template Select the primary diagnosis for today in the top grid. The diagnosis moves to the lower grid as #1 in the new order. Select the additional diagnoses in the order of their relevance to the treatment for that visit. Diagnoses move to the bottom grid in the order they are selected. Select Save & Close. The window closes. The Treating Dx grid shows the new order. Parent topic: Ordering and Treating Diagnosis

Search for a Diagnosis Code
If you do not see the diagnosis you need on the Common Assessments template, you can search for it. Select the Search field, and then enter the code or a word or words that describe the condition. Select Search. A search window opens with all codes related to your entry. Select the diagnosis code, and then select OK to add it to the Treating grid, or, if necessary, change your search. Add a Treating Diagnosis
You can add additional treating diagnosis using IMO or Common assessment templates. The following steps describe adding treating diagnosis codes using the Common Assessments templates. Note: If your practice is licensed for Problem Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) functionality, select the Problem IT button under the grid to open IMO to add assessments. Select Add. The Inf Common Assessment window opens. Select the Common Assessments field to select the diagnosis codes page you want to use, and then select OK. The selected page opens. Headers and categories are in bold font. Items showing a code pull directly to the history. Items with a plus sign open picklists to select a more specific diagnosis code. Inf Common Assessment template Select one or more diagnosis codes. The codes you select appear in the Treating grid at the lower left. Select Save & Close. Make an Ordering Diagnosis the Treating Diagnosis
You can move any ordering diagnosis to the Treating Dx grid to make it the treating diagnosis. Select an ordering diagnosis in the Ordering Dx grid. Select the right arrow between the grids to move it to the Treating Dx grid. Parent topic: Ordering Dx and Treating Dx

The Ordering Dx grid shows diagnoses added on the NTS Homepage template. The Treating Dx grid shows diagnoses the patient is being treated for on this encounter. Select an Ordering Diagnosis as a Treating Diagnosis
When a patient comes to you for therapy, they may have one or more ordering diagnoses already added. Based on your assessment, you determine the treating diagnoses to support the patient’s need for therapy. You can select from the existing ordering diagnoses or select additional ones that better reflect the specific diagnoses related to therapy treatment. Expand the Assessment panel. Ordering Dx lists the diagnoses that were added on the NTS Homepage template. Under Ordering Dx, review the ordering diagnoses to determine which ones should be included as treating diagnoses. Select an ordering diagnosis, and then select the right arrow to move it to the Treating Dx list. Treating Dx displays the diagnosis. The diagnosis remains visible in the Ordering Dx list.
