Procedure Code Configuration

You can create and manage procedure pages from the Procedure Code Configuration panel of the Common Procedure Configuration practice template. You can set default pages based on provider build new or edit existing procedure pages, add and edit procedure codes or procedure groups on the pages, and copy or delete pages. Procedures Configuration

You can build procedure pages and groups in the Common Procedure Configuration practice template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add procedures to the patient’s history. You can set default pages based on the rendering provider or practice, and you can also copy procedure pages. The Common Procedure Configuration practice template has the following panels: Procedure Code Configuration PX Group Configuration Default Settings Note: NextGen Healthcare recommends you to start Procedures Configuration from the PX Group Configuration panel. Create a Procedure Group

On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the PX Group Configuration panel. In the field below the Procedures Groups grid, type the group name. Click Add. In the Procedures Groups grid select the newly created procedure group. From the All Procedures grid, select a procedure. You can search for specific procedures using filter fields above the All Procedures grid. Click the right-pointing arrow to move the procedure to the Procedures grid. The Procedures grid displays procedures in the selected procedure group. Filter section in the PX Group Configuration panel To add more procedures to the procedure group, repeat steps 5 and 6. Delete Procedures from a Group

On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the PX Group Configuration panel. In the Procedure Groups grid, select the group that contains the desired procedure. In the Procedures grid, select the desired procedure. Procedures section in the PX Group Configuration panel Do one of the following: Click the left-pointing arrow. Click Delete. Delete a Procedure Group

You can delete a group at any time. You do not need to delete the procedures from the group before deleting the group. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the PX Group Configuration panel. In the Procedure Groups grid, select the group. Click Delete under the Procedure Groups grid. Tasking Configuration

You can setup and maintain all the tasking (both manual and automatic) on the Tasking Configuration practice template. The top grid of the template displays all the built tasks and all the data associated with them. This grid shows both manual tasks and tasks that are sent automatically based on triggers set in specific template fields.
