View Inpatient Schedules in the Stays View
Before you begin
You must configure your clinic as an acute care facility.
In
NextGen® Mobile
, you can view the inpatient schedules in the
Stays
view.
Open
NextGen® Mobile
.
On the menu bar, select the
Stays
icon.
Note:
If you had selected a department previously, the
Stays
view displays the list of stay schedules for the selected department.
The
Departments
view opens.
From the
All Departments
section, search for and select a department, and then select
Done
.
A list of stay schedules appears.
Optional:
Select the
Device Added Patients
department, and then select
Done
.
Note:
The
Device Added Patients
department is displayed only when the device-added patient stay schedule is available.
The device-added patient schedule appears.
Note:
You can delete the device-added patient stay schedule by swiping from left to right, if needed.
Select Filters in the Stays View
You can sort the stay-schedule list by the Length of Stay, Location, and Patient in the Stays view.
Create Jobs from Stays
You can create dictation jobs for inpatients from the Stays view.

Select Filters in the Stays View
In Stays view, you can select filters to view the stay-schedule list for your patients. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select the Stays icon. Note: The Stays option is available only if your clinic is configured as an acute care facility. Note: If you had selected a department previously, the Stays view displays a list of stay-schedules for the selected department. The Departments view opens. From the All Departments section, search for and select a department, and then select Done.A list of stay-schedules appears in descending order by length of stay. Create Jobs from Stays
You can create and complete inpatient dictation jobs and charges in the Stays view. After completion of a dictation job and charge workflows, the completion icons appear next to the corresponding stay schedule entry for the current date. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select the Stays icon. Note: The Stays option is available only if your clinic is configured as an acute care facility. Note: If you had selected a department previously, the Stays view displays a list of stay-schedules for the selected department. The Departments view opens. From the All Departments section, search for and select a department, and then select Done.A list of stay schedules appears. Select a stay-schedule you want to create a job for.The Patient Chart view opens. Today's visit view Select the Dictate icon.The dictation view opens. Filter Appointment Schedules
You can check appointment schedules for the selected resources in Schedule. You can edit the view to display only the checked-in patients or current-time events. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The Schedule view opens. Select Filter icon.The appointment filter menu opens. Appointment filter menu To filter the list to display patients who have checked in, select Only Show Checkin. To receive the immediate next and prior appointments or events based on the present time, select Real-Time Schedule View. View Schedules for Selected Dates
By default, the Schedule view displays your appointments for the current calendar date. You can edit the layout to display events for a selected date. Note: NextGen® Mobile purges schedules that are older than 15 days and are not attached to an encounter. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The Schedule view opens. To open the calendar, select the displayed date in the Schedule view.The dates that have scheduled patients are marked with dots in the calendar. Calendar view To check the previous and next day schedules, select previous button or Next button.The appointment schedules for the selected date appear. Add Patients
When you add patients using NextGen® Mobile, the patient information is sent to NextGen Mobile Cloud Portal for review. You must add the patient details manually to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Mobile The Hub view opens. Select Charges. The Charges view opens. Charges View Select New Patient. The patient details view opens. New Patient Details View Enter the patient details. Select Add. The New Patient Charge view opens with the current date in Date of Encounter. New Patient Charge view To change the date of encounter, select the displayed date. The calendar opens. Select the date and then select . To select a location for the patient, select Select Location. The Locations view opens. Select a location from the list. You can filter the list of locations by entering the location name in Filter Locations. The New Patient Charge view opens with the selected location. Add Dictation Jobs
Before you begin You must configure Access to Mobile Job List for your permission group in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. You can search for, filter, and delete recorded dictation jobs in Jobs in Hub. You can add jobs for an unscheduled patient encounter and make records of phone calls, texts, or emails. You can also restore a deleted job to the job list by opening a case in NextGen Healthcare Success Community. Note: If the Access to Image Only Job List option is turned on in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, you can only view image jobs and cannot create jobs. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hubopens. Select Jobs.Details of the available jobs on the current date appear. If another provider queue is added to your job list, the provider job queue indicator appears with the job type.
