- For small joint needle placement with ultrasound guidance, the application sends the CPT code 20604 instead of 20600.
- For intermediate joint needle placement with ultrasound guidance, the application sends the CPT code 20606 instead of 20605.
- For major joint needle placement with ultrasound guidance, the application sends the CPT code 20611 instead of 20610.
- For the other joint needle placements with ultrasound guidance, the application sends send the ultrasound CPT code 76942 in conjunction to the procedure code.
