Configuring Picklists for the MICS Med Management Template

You can configure picklists related to procedures, body parts, and locations for the MICS Med Management template. On the Medication Picklist template, in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel, you can configure and manage picklists for the fields that are related to procedures, body parts, and locations of the MICS Med Management template. The following table describes the sections in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel and the related fields on the MICS Med Management template. The Secondary Locations and Portals/Approaches sections are not applicable for the MICS Med Management template. Section Description Procedure Types You can use this section to configure options for the Administration and Admin Code fields on the MICS Med Management template. Configuring Picklists for the Dispensing Template

You can configure picklists for fields on the Medication Dispensing and Medication Dispensing and Administration panels of the MICS Dispensing medical record template. You can configure the picklists using the following grids in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template: Procedures Body Parts Side Note: You must select MLTS_dispensing in the Template field of the Administering Template BodyPart/Location panel to enable the configurations for the MICS Dispensing template. You can configure picklists for Admin Type and Body Part fields on the MICS MedAdmin OPH medical record template. You can configure picklists using Admin Types and Body Parts grids in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. Note: You must select MLTS_medAdmin_OPH in the Template field of the Administering Template BodyPart/Location panel to enable the configurations for MICS MedAdmin OPH template. You can add or update the picklist values for the Side fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. You can manage the picklists using Sides grid in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. This configuration associates the sides of the body parts for medication administration with appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes for billing purposes. You can manage the picklists using the Body Parts grid in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template.
