Set Operation Rights for Attributes
Set up Operations Rights in the System Administrator application to control access to the following functionality:
Template Editor - Attribute Editing
: Allow users to edit and assign field attribute.
Access System Administrator.
In the left pane, expand the folders for the applicable
Enterprise
>
Practice
>
User Group
.
Select the
Rights
tab.
To view the list of subgroups, expand the
OPERATIONS
group.
Expand the
Template Editor - Allow Data Change
group, and then select
Template Editor - Attribute Editing
.
To enable the right, in the
Access Rights
section, select
Yes
, or to disable the right, select
No
.
Note:
The default setting is Yes.

Set Operation Rights for Scripts
Set up Operations Rights in System Administrator to control access to Template Editor - Script Editing, which enables users to perform script editing. Access System Administrator. In the left pane, expand the folders for the applicable Enterprise > Practice > User Group. Select the Rights tab. To view the list of subgroups, expand the OPERATIONS group. Expand the Template Editor - Allow Data Change group, and then select Template Editor - Script Editing. In the Access Rights section, select Yes to enable the right, or No to disable the right. Attributes
Attributes enable you to define any number of attributes for a template field. The Template Editor provides the ability to set the values for each and every attribute for each template field. You can set up the template field attributes from the Tools menu. There are three types of attributes you can set up such as Boolean, List, and Whole Number. The added attribute values are stored in a template fields such as Data Entry, Check Box, and Radio Button. Attribute values set for one field reflects in other fields if it has same name. For example, attribute values set for one radio button field reflects for other radio button fields with the same name. You must set rights permissions under Rights > Operations > Template Editor – Allow Data Change > Template Editor – Attribute Editing in System Administrator. Template Editor - Allow Data Change Operation
The Template Editor – Allow Data Change Operations subgroup in the System Administrator application enables users to create or add data fields onto a template. If this permission is set to No, users can only use existing fields (shared from other templates) on new templates and create labels. Set Up Rights for the Orders Management Console
Open System Administrator and enter your credentials. Select the practice. Select the user or user group to which you want to give Orders Management Console rights. Select the Rights tab. Select Operations to expand the list. Locate and select Orders Management Console setting. Select the Yes option in Access Rights to assign rights to the user/user group. Select Save. Set Up Rights for Applying Order Preferences Across Practices
When creating or updating order preferences, such as required fields, Vaccine Inventory information or the Vaccine Schedule, users can apply these changes to an individual practice or across practices. These rights are set up in System Administrator > Operations and the default is Yes. If your practice does not need to provide order or vaccine information across all practices, set this option to No. Note: If you set the Apply Order Preferences across Practices rights to No, you cannot select all practices when copying order preferences across practices (such as required fields), setting up the Vaccine Inventory, or updating the Vaccine Schedule in File Maintenance. Set Up Operation Rights for Generating Reports
You can configure which user groups can generate NextGen® Document Management reports from NextGen® Document Management and NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open System Administrator. Select a user group, and then select the Rights tab. In Master Files, select System, PM, or Document Management, and then select Practices. The Practices List window opens. In the Practices list, double-click a practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens. In Preferences List, select Imaging. Expand OPERATIONS, and then expand Reports. Select Doc Mgmt, and then in the Access Rights section, select Yes.
