HEAD (normal or premature) Growth Percentage Function

Use:Calculates the head circumference percentile for a patient aged 0-36 months compared with other individuals of the same age and gender. This function uses a head circumference value calculated with standard, non-metric measurements. The percentiles are derived from the normal pediatric chart.

The standard growth charts are used for Down syndrome patients.

Syntax:

Arguments:

«string» or «value» - Head circumference value (inches)
5 - System identifier for this function
Measurement Date - The measurement date can be used to override the default current encounter date. This field is optional.
False- Metric Indicator
Returns:A decimal percentile value
Example:

Gender = Female, Age = 2 years, Head circumference = 19 inches

Result: 57.635881
