Set up Save Template Trigger

The Save Template action automatically saves the template. CAUTION: If you set up a Launch Document Trigger, and the template contains data that needs to be displayed on the launched document, set up a Save Template or Set up Save & Close Template Trigger first on the same field. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Save Template action. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Save Template action to be triggered. Set up Launch Image Trigger

The Launch Image action allows you to save the current template and then launch a preselected image. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Launch Image action. The Launch Image window opens. Select an image to be launched from the selected field. To save the information and close the window, select OK. Set up Save & Close Template Trigger

The Save & Close Template action automatically saves and closes the template. CAUTION: If you set up a Launch Document trigger and the template contains data that needs to be displayed on the launched document, set up a Save Template or Save & Close Template trigger first on the same field. Manage Clear Trigger

The Clear action clears all edit fields on a template at run time. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Clear action to display the Clear window, which asks if you want to prompt. Select an option in response to Should the user be prompted during the execution of this trigger? To prompt the user to confirm the Clear action at run time, select Yes. If you do not want to prompt the user, select No. To set the prompt from a template field, select the Use Template Field option, and then select the field from the list. To save the information and close the window, select OK. If necessary, set up a specific condition for the Clear action to be triggered. To save the trigger and close the Trigger Info window, select OK. The trigger is listed in the Triggers window. Select OK and save your template. Set up Launch Template Trigger

The Launch Template action saves and closes the current template and then launches another template for either the current encounter or another specified encounter. You can keep the original template open when the new template is launched. This trigger can be used on Sidebar templates in addition to other template types. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Launch Template action. The Launch Template window opens. Launch Template window To select the template, field, variable, or group you want to use to launch the template, select Fields, Templates, Variables, or #Groups, and then select the applicable item from the list that appears. To use the original NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, select the Ignore Alias checkbox. Note: This functionality is available only if the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine have been locked down. The Refresh Sidebar action reloads the content of the Sidebar template at run time. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Refresh Sidebar action.
