View Document Level Comments

If a document contains comments, the Comments Icon with Red Mark (Comments) icon with a read mark is displayed at the top of the following views: Custom View Full View A saved filtered view At the top of the Custom View, Full View, or a saved filtered view of a C-CDA document, select Comments Icon with Red Mark (Comments). The Document Comments window appears. Document Comments Window To group the comments by section names, select Group By Section Name. The comments are grouped by section names. By default, the Document Comments window displays the comments entered when signing off on the document. To hide the sign-off comments, clear Show Sign-Off Comments. Add Section Level Comments

The comments that you add in a section can be viewed at the document level. Note: When viewing a document in the CDA Viewer from the PAQ module, you cannot add comments. You can only view the comments that the document contains. In the CDA Viewer, go to the section where you want to add your comments. For example, Medications. Medications Section In the section header, select Comments (Comments). Note: If the section contains comments, the Comments icon has a red mark Comments Icon with Red Mark. Select this icon to add new comments or view the existing comments. The <section name> Comments window appears. <Section Name> Comments Window Under Leaving Comment As: <user name>, enter your comments, and select Add. Note: When viewing a document in the CDA Viewer from the PAQ module, you cannot add comments. You can only view the comments that the document contains. Add Comments on the Saved Views

The comments that you add to a filtered view are available in the original CDA document from which the filtered view was created. Open a saved view in the CDA Viewer Do any of the following: To add a document level comment, select Comments (Comments) at the top of the filtered view. To add a section level comment, select Comments (Comments) in the section header. Note: If the original C-CDA document already contains comments, the Comments icon has a red mark Comments Icon with Red Mark. Select this icon to add new comments or view the existing comments. Adding and Tracking Comments

While reviewing a C-CDA document in the CDA Viewer, you can add comments to the C-CDA document. Comments can be added at the document level or at the section level. The following icons in Custom View and Full View represent the comments feature: At the top of the document, the Comments (Comments) icon appears if the document does not contain any comments. If the document contains comments, the Comments icon has a red mark Comments Icon with Red Mark. At the top of each section, the Comments (Comments) icon appears if the section does not contain any comments. If the section already contains comments, the Comments icon has a red mark Comments with Red Mark. Note: You must have permissions to add comments.
