Reapply Filters
To reapply the current filter, select the
Clinical Information Filter Applied
list, and then reselect the current filter from the list.
Reapplying the filter removes the effect of any actions you took to manually select or deselect individual items.

Select Filters
On the Export tab,under Clinical Information, set Export Type to Manual Data Selection, and then select a user filter or practice filter from Clinical Information Filter Applied. Selecting a Filter To see which items were selected by the filter, view the Clinical Information list, and expand it as necessary. Types of Clinical Data Filters
You can use any of the following types of filters: Clinical Context (NextGen Filter): This predefined filter selects all clinical items that are required for Meaningful Use and Advancing Care Information: Active Medications Active Allergies Active Problems Active Implantable Devices Plan of Care Immunizations Note: You cannot modify or delete this type of filter. None: This filter clears the selection so that no clinical items are selected. Quick Filter: You can customize this filter for use only in the current session. User Filters: You can create and name these filters for possible reuse in later sessions. These filters are available only to you, the current user. You can mark one of them as your default filter. Practice Filters: These filters are available to all users who belong to the same practice. Practice filters are available only if they have been enabled. Delete User Filters
On the Export tab, in Clinical Information, select the gear icon.The DSM Filter Configuration window opens. Which Filter Would You Like to Delete Select Delete Existing Filter, select a filter from the list, and then select Next. When the confirmation message appears, select Yes. Enable Users to Update Practice Filters
You can control whether selected users can configure practice filters in the Data Share module. Open System Administrator. In the left pane, expand a practice, and select a user group. In the right pane, select the Rights tab. Select OPERATIONS > Medical Summary/Data Share > Allow Updating Practice Filters. Allow Updating Practice Filters Right Under Access Rights, select Yes or No. This right allows the user to create, edit, or delete practice filters. Select Save. Configure Practice Filters
Before you begin Practice filters must be previously enabled for the practice. Your user account must have previously been granted permission to update practice filters. You can create a filter that is available to all users in the currently selected practice. On the Export tab, in Clinical Information, set Export Type to Manual Data Selection. In the Clinical Information pane, select the gear icon.The DSM Filter Configuration window opens.
