Prescribed Medication History
Medication History enables you to view the history of a patient's prescribed and dispensed medications from the patient's active pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) or dispensing pharmacy. Note: To view a patient's medication history, you must enable Surescripts services, apply the medication history service level, and receive the patient's consent. Prescription History CAUTION: The eRx medication history provides information about medications prescribed only through the Surescripts network of pharmacies and therefore may not represent a complete and accurate list of medications. Viewing Dispense History
The Medications Module displays the last recorded case of a medication being dispensed (Print/Fax/eRx) in the Last Audit column of the Medication List. The Medications Dispense History enables you to view all information applicable to recorded cases of the selected medication being dispensed (Print/Fax/eRx). For eRx on the Dispense Audit Information window, the following statuses are supported: Synchronous when the pharmacy is directly associated with Surescripts Pending Error Sent - Verified Asynchronous when the pharmacy is associated with Surescripts through an aggregator that collects and processes the prescriptions Sent - Pending Verification Sent - Verify time out Verified Sent Error Note: Not all pharmacies support the Verify status. If an Error status is received, the error is displayed at the bottom of the window. Parent topic: Electronic Prescriptions
