The Public Key Certificate that NextGen® Enterprise EHR (versions 5.7.3.16 Patch 28 and later) uses for ePrescribing Controlled Substances (ePCS), expires on February 01, 2024.
All ePCS transactions require a valid certificate. You can download the latest eRx Certificate Manager VIP Only utility from NextGen Healthcare Success Community and install the VIP certificate in your NextGen® database.
The eRxCertificateManagerVIPOnly_Installer_1.3.0.zipfile contains a utility installer to update the VIP certificate and a user guide to help you through the installation process. The new certificate is already valid and expires on January 23, 2026. Please complete the installation as soon as possible to avoid ePCS issues on February 01, 2024 or later.
