Add a Patient to Recall Plans

You can add a patient to recall plans. Note: In System Administrator, if Access Rights for Chart/Recalls/Tasking is set to No, then you cannot access Recall on the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub toolbar. For more information about setting access permissions to Recall in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From the Cohorts tab, run a report. From the My Lists tab, run a list. From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient's name. Select Recall. The Patient Recall window opens. Note: If active recall plans are not available, the Recall Plan Maintenance window opens where you can select required recall plan. Select the required recall plan. Select Close. Update Patient Information to My Lists

You can add one or more patients to an existing My Lists. Note: In System Administrator, if Access Rights for Export/Printing is set to No, then you cannot access Export on the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub toolbar. For more information about setting access permissions to Export in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From the Cohorts tab, run a report. From the My Lists tab, run a list. From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient's name. From Export, select My List. The Save as My List window opens. Select Update Saved List. From Name, select the required existing My List name. Select Merge to include all patients from both lists or select Override to replace all patients

Add a Patient from NextGen® Enterprise Template

You can add patient from template trigger to My Lists. You can only add one patient at a time using a template trigger. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On NextGen® Enterprise EHR main toolbar, select Patient. The Patient Lookup window opens. To select a patient, find the patient, and then select Open. Select an encounter on the Encounter History tab or create a new encounter. Select Open Template, and then select the template that contains the triggers to add patient. For more information on adding triggers, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Templates User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the button which adds patient to My Lists. The Save as My List window opens. Under Update Saved List, From Name, select the required existing My List name. Add a Referral

You can add a referral for a selected patient in the patient grid. You can generate a referral for a selected patient in the patient grid using Referrals. If you are using NextGen® Share to find specialists while generating a referral, NextGen® Share logo appears in the Referrals Order template. For more information about generating referrals, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest NextGen® Share Referrals User Guide. Order Referrals in the Referral Order Template

You can place referral orders for other specialties, providers, therapies, and durable medical equipment. Open the Home or any other applicable template, select Orders from the upper navigation bar, and then select Referral Order. The Referral Order template opens. To add diagnoses and procedures for the order, select Dx & Px. Note: Selecting procedures is optional; however, you must select at least one diagnosis to order referrals. Optional: To indicate that the referral is internal, select Internal referral. Select the date of injury and insurance name. Note: By default, the encounter date appears in Date. You can change the date, if needed. The policy number is automatically filled based on the selected insurance name.
