Access External Provider Reference from the Procedures Module

You can access the External Provider Reference resource and search for additional information regarding the selected procedure from the Procedures module. Open the Procedures module for a patient. Enter a new procedure for the patient, if required. Right-click the procedure, and then select Resources > External Provider Reference. You can access the External Provider Reference resource and search for additional information regarding the selected medication allergy from the Medication Allergies module. Open the Medication Allergies module for a patient. Enter a new allergy, if required. Right-click the allergy and then select Resources > External Provider Reference. You can access the External Provider Reference resource and search for additional information regarding the selected problem from the Problems module. Open the Problems module for a patient. Enter a new problem in the Problem List tab or the Billing ICD List tab, if required. Note: The Problem List tab has SNOMED CT codes while the Billing ICD List tab has ICD-9, or where applicable, ICD-10 codes. Do one of the following: Right-click the problem, and then select Resources > External Provider Reference. Select the problem, and then select Resources > External Provider Reference from the Problems module toolbar. You can access the External Provider Reference resource and search for additional information regarding the selected lab result from the Orders module. Open the Orders module for a patient. Note: Orders must have results before you can access external educational resources. Select the result, and then select Resources > External Provider Reference.
