Show Watch Window
The Watch window helps template developers to debug their templates. You can view the value of fields and variables located on the template that may or may not be visible on the template. Select a patient. Open the applicable template. Right-click on the template, and then select Show Watch Window. Note: This command is not available on the right-click menu for a pop-up template. The Watch Window opens. In the Fields filter, select the required fields, and then select Search. The fields appear in the Fields grid. Note: The filters are available for the following fields: Active Text Check box Edit Radio In the Variables filter, select the required fields, and then select Search. The fields appear in the Fields grid. In the Immediate field, enter your criteria, and then select Execute. The result appears in the Result field. Select OK. Parent topic: Using Templates

Access Template Properties
Open the template, sub template, template snippet or Popup template. Do one of the following: Double-click anywhere outside a field in the template. Right-click anywhere outside a field on the template, and then select Properties. From the Menu bar, select View > Properties. On the Main toolbar, select Properties. The Template Properties window opens. Note: The Comments tab appears only if you view properties when you have a template snippet or sub template open. Parent topic: Template Properties

Set up Template Display Name
You can set up a display name for a template at run time. Open a template. From the File menu, select Display As. The Display As window opens. In the Template Display Name box, enter the name you want to display at run time, and then select OK. Parent topic: Template Setup
