Rescheduling the Expected Test Result Due Date for a Recurring Order
After a recurring order is released, the system calculates the expected result date according to the setup in the File Maintenance > Order Tests > Modify Orders > Expected test results field. You can open the released recurring order and reschedule the test results due date in the Reschedule Order window, if necessary. On the Reschedule Order window or on the Update Lab/Radiology Order window, on the Test Details tab, the Expected Result shows (Recurring). The NextGen Status displays Released on the Orders Summary tab or on the Orders Management order control on your custom practice template. Note: For the appropriate order, the NextGen status displays Released on the Orders Summary tab or Orders Management Control practice template. The lab is not notified of any updates to the lab results due dates.
