Removing Trailing Zeroes
NextGen® Enterprise EHR is compliant with the National Patient Safety Goals of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
If you set the JCAHO Requirements Universal Preference to True, trailing zeroes are removed and leading zeroes are added, if applicable, to all decimal fields. For example, 1.0 becomes 1, and .1 becomes 0.1. This setting overrides the field property setting for the No Zero Decimals check box.
If you set the JCAHO Requirements Universal preference to False, trailing zeroes are removed only if the No Zero Decimals check box is selected for a field.
For more information on setting Universal Preferences, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise.
