From the Main menu, select
File
>
Reports
>
Report List
.
The
Memorized Reports
window opens.
Select the
Report Type
.
Select the report you wish to modify and double-click it.
The Report Filter displays the specifics of the Denominator Report.
Select
Report List
.
The
Edit Report
window opens.
Select the
Denominator
or the
Numerator
report you wish to edit and select
OK
.
Edit any of the existing filters and/or create new filters for the selected Denominator and/or Numerator Reports.
Make sure to save the modified Summary Report.

Create a Summary Report
Open the Report Filter. From the Report Filter, select Summary Report. The Denominator window opens. Denominator Enter a name for the Denominator Report and select OK. Setup all of the desired filters. Select Add Sub Report. The Numerator window opens. Numerator Enter a name for the Numerator Report and select OK. Setup any additional filters for the Numerator Report. Note: All of the filters that you have setup for the Denominator Report are retained by default. The Numerator Report should be set to filter more specific results than the Denominator Report. Add any additional options. Select OK to generate the created Summary Report. The Summary Report opens. Generate a Full Report from a Sub-Report
You can generate a full report from either the Denominator or the Numerator sub-report of any available Summary Report. From the Main menu, select File > Reports > Report List. The Memorized Reports window opens. Select the Report Type. Select the report and double-click it. The generated report displays in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR application. Select the Report Filter icon on the Report toolbar. The Report Filter displays the specifics of the Denominator Report. If you wish to generate a full report based on the Numerator report, select Report List. The Edit Report window opens. Edit Report Select the Numerator report, select OK. Select Detail Report. Select OK. The specified sub-report is generated, and full detail of the report is displayed in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR application. To save (memorize) the generated sub-report as a separate report, select Save icon to display the Memorize Report window. Parent topic: Creating and Using Summary Reports

Save a Summary Report
After you have set up a Summary Report, you should save the report. From the Report Filter, select the Save button. The Memorize Report window opens. Memorize Report Enter the name of the report. Select the Report Type. Note: Only the Report Types that have been set up in the File Maintenance are available for selection. Refer to your practice's System Administrator in regard to availability of Report Types. Select which users are allowed to run, modify and save the report you have created. Select OK. Creating and Using Summary Reports
The Summary Reports enables you to compare specifically filtered data. A Summary Report consists of the following separate reports: Report Type Description Denominator Report Filters a specific set of data that could be compared to a Numerator Report Sub-report Filters a specific set of data from the Denominator Report For example, you could create a Denominator Report for the number of female patients in your practice and compare the results to a Numerator Report, which filters out the number of female patients who are older than 40 years of age. Either a Denominator or Numerator Report could be generated as a full-report with the entire set of data displayed. You can modify report options to change how numbers display and how the report prints. You can also save the changes in a memorized report. If you change the report options and then memorize the report, the changes save with the report. Do one of the following: From the report display, select Report Options on the Report toolbar. From the report display, right-click and then select Options. From the Report Filter window, select Options. The Report Options window opens. Set your settings for the report.
