Managing Status Information

The Status tab appears only when the Enable patient status option is enabled on the Chart practice preferences. You can select a specific status for a person or patient in the practice, and also document a reason for changing the patient's status.

The Immunization Registry Information section of the tab appears only when the Show Immunization Registry Patient Status in PM check box is enabled on the External practice preferences. In this section, you can enter immunization information for a patient in the practice that is needed for submission to an Immunization Registry. The information is saved for established patients with an existing chart, and for new patients when the chart is created.

Information on the Status tab is stored at the practice level; therefore, each practice can enter and maintain different information for a person or patient.
