Filter Trace Results
You can set filters on the trace settings to modify the traces that are displayed.
In
NextGen® Enterprise EHR
, open the
NextGen Trace
window.
From the
Filter
list, select the check box for each filter to apply.

Fatal
Critical
Error
Warning
Info
Trace
Protocol
SQL
To remove a filter, clear the check box.
To clear all results, select
Clear
.

Trace SQL Actions
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, open Help menu. Select Trace Settings. The Trace Settings window opens. Select Trace Enabled. Select the check boxes for the instances to trace. Select OK. The NextGen Trace window opens. Select Start. The selected items are automatically traced as you perform actions in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. After you perform actions, you can view the traces on the NextGen Trace window. If you have multiple results, you can filter the results. You can view the criteria used to build the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub report on the Filter tab. Note: The Filter tab is available only for the NextGen® Enterprise EHR reports. The Filter Name column provides list of criteria used to build a report and the Filter Value column represents the SQL Server query equating to the criteria selected for the report. View Trace Triggers
The Trace Triggers function enables you to view the status and properties for each trigger executed on the active template. Select a template in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Execute one or more triggers on the template. From the Main menu, select Tools, and then select Trace Triggers. The Trace Triggers window opens. The Trace Triggers window lists the following information for each trigger: Execution status Template table Trigger field and event Condition Action Parameter Note: If the status of the trigger is Not Executed, the trigger has not met a specified condition. To save the trigger data to a log file, select the Log to File check box. The default file is tracelog.xls. To stop logging the trigger data, clear the Log to File check box. Select Care Guideline Items to Remove
You can remove a patient's care guidelines using the Report and Remove panel. In the Report and Remove panel, you can search for specific care guideline items and their associated patient level data to review and then remove, if desired. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, Select System/Practice Templates. The Select Template window opens. From the Practice tab, select All. A list of practice-level templates opens. Select Care Guidelines Clear and Restore, and then select OK. The Care Guidelines Clear and Restore practice template opens. In the Report and Remove panel, select All Practice or Current Practice. Select one or more search criteria for the following: Applying Provider Condition/Reason Guide line Item Note: The corresponding Clear link clears the field when you change or remove your selection.
