Add a Patient from NextGen® Enterprise Template

You can add patient from template trigger to My Lists. You can only add one patient at a time using a template trigger.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. On NextGen® Enterprise EHR main toolbar, select Patient.
    The Patient Lookup window opens.
  3. To select a patient, find the patient, and then select Open.
  4. Select an encounter on the Encounter History tab or create a new encounter.
  5. Select Open Template, and then select the template that contains the triggers to add patient. For more information on adding triggers, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Templates User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  6. Select the button which adds patient to My Lists.

    The Save as My List window opens.

  7. Under Update Saved List, From Name, select the required existing My List name.
  8. Select Merge to include all patients from both lists or select Override to replace all patients in the existing list.
  9. From Share with Workgroups, select one or more work groups.
  10. Select OK.

    The patient is added to My Lists from the template.
