Change Job Sequence
NextGen® Background Business Processor processes jobs in the order they are listed in the package. You can change the order in which NextGen® Background Business Processor processes jobs within a package by rearranging the sequence of the package job listing. Select the Jobs tab on the Package Properties window. Highlight the job you want to change. Do one of the following: Select one of the arrow buttons to move its location in the list. Run NextGen® Background Business Processor Jobs Individually
If a job within a package fails, you can run that job (or several jobs) individually without having to run all the jobs that are contained within the package. Open the Package Properties window for the package that contains the job (or jobs) that you want to run. Select the Jobs tab. Place a check mark in the Run Once check box for the job or jobs that you want to run. Select OK on the Package Properties window. Right-click on the package in the Package List and select Queue Now from the drop-down menu. The application runs one or more jobs that you selected in the package. View Job History

Enable and Disable Jobs
NextGen® Background Business Processor enables all jobs by default. A job cannot run unless it is enabled. If a job is enabled, but the package (or the schedule for the package) to which it belongs is disabled, it cannot run. Highlight the job in the Jobs tab of the Package Properties window. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Enable or Disable from the short-cut menu. Select the Open Menu button and select Enable or Disable. Copy Jobs
You can make a copy of an existing job. The copied job can serve as a shortcut to the task of creating a new job. Highlight the job in the Jobs tab of the Package Properties window. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Copy from the short-cut menu. Select the Open Menu button and select Copy. The Job Properties window displays with settings that are identical to the properties for the job you are copying. The lone difference is that NextGen® Background Business Processor inserts "Copy of" before the name of the copied job. Delete a Package
Highlight the package in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Delete from the short-cut menu. Select Delete from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar. Parent topic: Create Packages
