Update Intervention Code Equivalents

You can update a code equivalent for an intervention or a test for a patient's guideline.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   The Select Template window opens.
3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
4. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
   The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
5. Expand the Interventions/Test Equivalent Codes/Descriptions panel, and then select the code in the Intervention Code Equivalent grid.
   The code appears in the corresponding Intervention Code Equivalent field.

   Note: The Orderable checkbox is selected by default when the Orderable column displays Y for the test code.
6. Make the necessary changes to the code.
7. Optional: To change the orderable status for the test code, select or clear the Orderable checkbox.
8. Select Add/Update.
   The updated code appears in the grid.
