You can remove a quick save default set template. You can remove a Quick Save default set using the Remove button in the Quick Save grid. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Quick Save template. Remove a Quick Save Default Set for Multiple Templates

You can only remove, not update, a default template set from multiple windows. You can delete but not overwrite an existing default set created from multiple windows. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Quick Save template, select a quick save default set from the Quick Saves grid. Note: When the Number of Screens column indicates Multiple, the Remove button is enabled, and the Update button is unavailable. Quick Save To delete the existing default set, select Remove. Load Template Default Sets with Quick Load

You can load existing default set values to a template or a panel. Using Quick Load, you can use a default set created for a template or panel with the Quick Save template. You can modify values as needed after the default set values are loaded to the template or panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select Quick Load on a template or panel. The Quick Load window opens. Select Quick Save default set. Select OK. The default set values appear on the selected template. Make any modifications. Select OK. Create Template Default Sets with Quick Save

You can create a default template set using the Quick Save template. To create a template default set for data you entered on a template or panel, use the Quick Save template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Quick Save button.The Quick Save template opens. Quick Save Note: The Options panel is unavailable. In the Save As field, enter a name for the Quick Save default set.NextGen Healthcare recommends entering a name in the <your initials> <gender> <default name> format (for example, AK_female_Asthma HPI). Select one of the following: All Specialties sets the Quick Save settings to be available across all specialties. This option is set as the default. Current Specialty Only sets the Quick Save settings to be available only in the currently opened specialty. You can create default sets for a template or a panel quickly for future or other patient encounters. The Quick Save and Quick Load buttons are available on multiple templates and panels. For example, you can access these buttons on the Asthma - HPI template in the Reason for Visit panel. You can save multiple Quick Save buttons for different scenarios based on patient characteristics such as age, sex, or other specific clinical scenarios. Create Template Default Sets in Run Time

The Quick Save icon enables you to create template default sets in various locations throughout the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. This feature enables you to save selected data fields, check boxes, and options, under a unique template default set name. On any template with the Quick Save icon, populate the data fields and then select the check boxes and options to be included in the default set. Click the Quick Save icon.The Save Template Defaults template opens. The Default Set Category field populates based on the location of the Quick Save icon. The All Specialties option is selected by default to make the template default set available for all specialties. If you want this template default set to be available only for the current specialty, select the Current Specialty Only option. The Template to Save section enables you to select the templates to be included in the set.
