View the OB Group Panel Details
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient record and create an encounter. Open the Intake template, and then select Specialty as Obstetrics and Visit Type as OB Prenatal. Click the Gestational Age tab. To add an last menstrual period, in the LMP field, select a date from the previous month. Click the Prenatal Detail tab. The Prenatal Detail template opens. Expand the Initial Orders panel. The Obtained date and Result associated with the lab order appear. You can expand the obstetric group of panels to view the associated lab orders. Manage Orders Using Order Management
For more information on Order Management, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Getting Started User Guide forNextGen®Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, select Order Management. The Order Management window opens. Select the order to be updated, and then select Edit. The All Order Management window opens. Enter the details. In the Result/report section, select the Received or Completed check box. The Details button appears when the ordered test is configured and included in Manage Custom Links. Select Details. Enter the details in the Interpretation and Result details fields. Select Save, and then select Close. Review Optional Orders
You can place orders for the tests in the Optional Orders panel during any time of pregnancy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the Optional Orders panel. The associated lab orders appear in the grid. Optional Orders Double-click the test name to place the order through Historical Test - Quick Entry template. To review a single lab order result, do the following: Select the row where the lab order result is available. The Edit Test Interval window opens. Select the Reviewed check box, and then select Save & Close. The reviewed check mark appears. To review all lab orders with results, select the Reviewed check box. The reviewed check mark appears for all orders with results. To update the order obtained interval date range, select the row and update the details on the Edit Test Interval w

Review 24-28 Week Orders
The Obtained Interval range is based on the prenatal details available on the Gestational Age template template. You can place orders for the tests in this panel within the date range mentioned. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the 24-28 Week Orders panel. The lab orders associated with the Obtained Interval date range appears in the grid. This date range is based on the details mentioned on the Gestational Age template. 24-28 Week Orders Double-click the test name to place the order through Historical Test - Quick Entry template. You can order tests through the Genetic Screening and Testing Maternal Carrier Screening panel during any time of pregnancy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Add Obstetric Test Names
The obstetric lab test name added on the OB Test Name Configuration template is available in the respective obstetric group panel on the Prenatal Detail template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From theFilemenu, selectSystem \ Practice Template. TheSelect Templatewindow opens. From theShowsection, selectAll. Select the Practice tab. To open the OB Test Name Configuration template, select OB Test Name Configuration, and click OK. To view the configured obstetric group panel names, select the Show All check box. To add an obstetric test name in the OB Group panel, select an OB Group. The existing test names associated with the obstetrics group appear in the grid. OB Group In Test Name, provide an appropriate name. Click Add. The test name is added to the selected OB Group.
