Restore a Mapping
You can restore removed mappings to the active list.
On the
Coded Results Mapping
template, expand the
Certification Custom Data Mapping
panel.
Click the
Removed
option above the grid to view the removed mappings.
The grid displays the removed mappings.
Select the mapping that you want to restore.
The
Add
button is enabled.
Click
Add
.
The system restores the selected mappings to the active list.

Remove a Mapping
You can remove a mapping at any time. The removed mappings are not deleted, but are disabled and do not appear on the Exceptions/Measures template. On the Coded Results Mapping template, expand the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel. Select a mapping in the grid that you want to remove. The data fields display data from the selected mapping, and the Remove button is enabled. Click Remove. The selected mapping record is removed and decreases the record count by one. Note: To view the removed mappings, select the Removed option above the grid. Parent topic: Custom Data Mapping

Update a Mapping
You can retain the original mapping values for the previously created patient records. Open the Coded Results Mapping template. Expand the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel. Select a mapping record in the grid. The data fields are filled with the data from the selected record and the Update button is enabled. Make the required changes to data fields. Note: If you clear a field that is required, the Update button is disabled until you make an entry in that field. Click Update. The system updates the selected mapping record with the changed data. Note: If you change any of the data in the fields and click Add, the system creates a new mapping and does not update the selected mapping record. Parent topic: Custom Data Mapping

Use Custom Data Mappings on the Provider CQM Template
When the custom data mappings are configured, at runtime, you can enter the custom data needed for reporting a measure in the Custom Data Mapping panel on the Exceptions/Measures template. The Custom Data Mappings panel displays all the custom data mapping records configured in the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel on the Coded Results Mapping template. Select Exception/Measures in the navigation bar. The Exceptions/Measures template opens. Expand the Custom Data Mapping panel. Custom Data Mapping Note: The Custom Data to Document grid shows all the records from the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel on the Coded Results Mapping template. Select a record in the grid. The Data description field is filled with the description of the selected record. Click the Data value field. The appropriate data collection tool, calendar, number pad, and so on, are displayed based on the data type defined for this mapping. If the field is defined as a text entry field, type the required data

Add a Mapping
You can add a new measure or update an existing measure at any time on the Coded Results Mapping template. Open the Coded Results Mapping template. Expand the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel. Certification Custom Data Mapping Click the Table name field and select the table holding the data field used for the measure being reported. Click the Field name field and select the data field used for the measure being reported. Note: The Data type and Length fields display the data type and the length of the selected field. The Data option field opens a calendar or number pad based on the data type defined for the selected field: For a Date data type, a calendar to enter a date opens for the field. For a decimal or numeric data type, a number pad to enter a value opens for the field. The Option name field is enabled. Click the Option name field to select the appropriate option in the list. Custom Data Mapping
You can report the data fields for newly added measures that are not currently available in the system. You can enter variable data for reporting purposes at runtime. Your system is delivered with a defined set of measures and code mappings using which you can immediately report for new measures that are not supported by the system. In addition, you can add measure and code mappings as needed to meet the new reporting requirements. On the Coded Results Mapping template, in the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel, you can do the following: Configure custom mapping for fields with the data values that need to be captured for reporting the new measures. Enable the data to be added on a template after the upgrade. When configured, providers can enter custom data for reporting the measures in the Custom Data Mappings panel on the Exceptions/Measures template. The Custom Data Mappings panel consists of a grid, which displays all the records from the Certification Custom Data Mapping pane

Restore Coded Results Mapping Records
