On the
Dynamic HPI Config
practice template, navigate to the
Findings
section.
Click
Contradictions setup
to open the
Dynamic HPI Contradiction Config
template.
On the
Dynamic HPI Contradiction Config
template, select
Only create or remove for selected item
.
Select the row in the grid for
Findings and contradictions
.
Click
Remove Contradiction
.
Only the match in the selected row is deleted.

Only Match Contradictions for the Selected Finding
You can manually match the contradictions when the Only create or remove for selected item check box is selected. On the Dynamic HPI Config template, in the Findings and contradictions grid, select Only create or remove for selected item. Highlight the row in the grid for Findings and contradictions. Select the appropriate contradiction row from the Findings grid on the right. A match is applied only to that row. No other data is modified. Remove One to Many Matched Contradictions
On the Dynamic HPI Config practice template, navigate to the Findings section. Click Contradictions setup to open the Dynamic HPI Contradiction Config template. Select the desired row in the grid for Findings and contradictions. Click Remove Contradiction. Select the contradiction to be deleted from the list. Select the contradiction to be deleted from Findings and Contradictions Click OK. The selected value no longer appears on that row in the grid. Remove Matched Contradictions
A stored procedure is used to process the deletion/removal of the matched contradictions. The store procedure deals with all three of matching scenarios. On the Dynamic HPI Config practice template, navigate to the Findings section. Click Contradictions setup to open the Dynamic HPI Contradiction Config template. Highlight the row in the grid for Findings and contradictions. Findings and Contradictions Click the Remove Contradiction button. All of matches (Group# 1and 2) for that caption are removed. Create One-to-One Matches for Contradictory Terms
On the Dynamic HPI Config template, click the down arrow to select a value in the Reason field. The information appears in the Specialty field. Highlight a row under Sections to fill the Findings section with the associated data. In the Finding section, click the Contradictions setup link. Create a One to Many Match for Contradictions
The Dynamic HPI Contradiction Config template enables you to manually create a one-to-many match for contradictory items. On the Dynamic HPI Config practice template, click the down arrow to select a value in the Reason field. The information appears in the Specialty field. Highlight a row under Sections to populate the Findings section with the associated data. In the Findings section, click Contradictions setup. In the Findings and contradictions grid, select an item. Highlight a contradictory row from the Findings grid on the right. This matches the contradictory item to the item selected for Group# 1 and 2. Highlight another contradictory value from the second grid. Note: There is a safeguard in place that does not allow a similar value in the same Group# to be matched (for example, the system does not allow 1. dysuria to match with 1. dysuria from the left grid). Alternatively, there are no limits placed on the ability to manually select multiple contradictions of different values

Access the Dynamic HPI Contradictions Config Template
In the File menu, select System\Practice Templates. The Select Template window appears. Click the Practice tab and select All in the Show section. Double-click Dynamic HPI Config. The practice Dynamic HPI Config practice template appears. Click the Contradictions setup link in the Findings section. The Dynamic HPI Contradiction Config template appears.
