Document Anticipatory Guidance
You can document the anticipatory guidance details of a well child in the Peds Plan template. Open the Pediatric SOAP template. In the Assessment/Plan panel, click Anticipatory Guidance . The Peds Plan template opens based on the age of the patient. The Well Child Age field displays the well child age of the patient by default. You can change Well Child Age to previous or any older age group for the patients who have not visited the office for some time. Peds Plan The Description field in the Assessment section displays the default text for a routine child health exam. To change the diagnosis, click Description to open the diagnosis search window and select the assessment. The selected diagnosis and the associated code appear in the Description field and Code field, respectively. Delete Other Picklist Selections
On the Peds Anticipatory Guidance Setup template, Peds Plan Other DB Picklist panel, Filter options, click the Age Group field to select a value. Remove an Assessment on the SOAP Template
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Assessment / Plan panel, select an assessment in the grid. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Assessment and Plan for Well Child
You can use the Assessment / Plan panel on the Pediatric SOAP template to document assessments, postoperative concerns, follow-up details, treatment plans, lab orders, referrals, office procedures, anticipatory guidance, and more. In the Assessment / Plan panel on the Pediatric SOAP template, you can find the following options for a well child encounter. The Anticipatory Guidance button to document the anticipatory guidance details. The assessment Encounter for routine child health examination without abnormal findings (Z00.129) in the grid to document the routine child health exam. You can click the assessment to directly enter the assessment and plan details on the Add or Update Assessment template. You can also use the Add Assessment button on the Add or Update Assessment template to enter assessment and plan details. When you document patient plan, provider plan, plan orders, and comments for any assessment, the associated information displays under the respective assessment in the

Remove Practice Configured Anticipatory Content
While the Bright Futures Fourth Edition content is read-only, you can delete the practice configured selections for Anticipatory Guidance. On the Peds Anticipatory Guidance Setup template, Peds Anticipatory Guidance panel, click the Age Group field to select the age group from which you would like to remove a selection. In Filter, select the Practice option. To refine the search further in the Filter options, enter an Age Group and/or Section that match the description to be edited. Remove a Community Resource from the Patient's Resources Grid
On the SOAP template, navigate to the Assessment/Plan panel. Select Community Resources in the left pane to open the Community Resources template. Do one of the following: Highlight the desired resource and click the Remove selected resource arrow. Select Automatically perform "Include" or "Remove" action on row select and click the required resource in the All Resources grid.
