Modify Existing Recommended Care Items

You can modify an existing recommended care item using the Recommended Care practice template.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
    The Select Template window opens.
  3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
  4. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
    The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
  5. Expand the Manage Groups and Options panel and then select the Recommended Care link.
    The Recommended Care practice template opens.
  6. Select the guideline in the Recommended Care grid.
    The Attributes/Feedback link appears.
  7. Select the Attributes/Feedback link.
    The Attributes View and Management window opens.
  8. Enter or modify the attributes, add feedback, and then select OK.
  9. Add or delete the items you want in the Goals, Status, and Compliance.
  10. Select Update.
