Procedure Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Procedure panel displays the procedure details documented by the scheduler in the Procedure panel on the ASC - Screening Questions template. The clinical support staff can review the documented data and make the applicable changes. If the case ID of the two encounters is the same, the details documented in this panel on the ASC - Pre admission template carry forward to the Procedure panel on the ASC templates in another encounter. Chart Check Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Chart Check panel on the ASC - Pre admission template displays the tasks documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Questions template. In this panel, the clinical support staff reviews the tasks to add a new task or updates/removes any existing tasks. If the case ID of the encounters is identical, then the data entered in the Chart Check panel on the ASC - Pre admission template appears in the Chart Check panel on any of the ASC templates to the next subsequent encounters within the same case ID. Patient Prep Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Patient Prep panel displays the prep types documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Screening Questions template. For information on prep documentation, see Patient Prep Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template. In the Patient Prep panel, the clinical support staff reviews the prep types and adds any new prep type for the patient. If the case ID of the encounters is identical, then the data entered in the panel on the ASC - Pre admission template carry forward to the next encounters within the same case ID. Perform a Follow-up on the Interview Questions Panel

In the Interview Questions panel, the clinical support staff performs a follow-up on the flagged questions. For information on follow-up questions, see Interview Questions Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template. In the Interview Questions panel, select the applicable or flagged question. The selected question appears in the Question field and the answers configured for the selected question appear in the Answer field. Note: If the scheduler has addressed the selected question on the ASC - Scheduling Question template, an asterisk (*) appears next to the selected answer in the Answer field. If applicable, select or modify the answer for the question. The selected answer appears in the grid. If configured on the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, an alert message appears for the appropriate action. Click Save & Next. After all the questions are answered, select the Sign off check box. The Completed by field is populated with the name of the user logged on to th

Patient Pre Admission Instructions Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel displays the pre-admission instructions configured for a procedure. In addition, the answers selected for certain interview questions also add the pre-admission instructions to the panel grid. The pre-admission patient instructions are pre-configured on the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template. This panel also allows the clinical support staff to add any new patient instructions. After you review or add patient instructions, select the Sign off check box. The Completed by field populates with the user name currently logged on to the system. The Date and Time fields populate with the current date and time of sign off. You can click the clock to add the current system time in the Time field. If the case ID of the encounters is the same, the data entered in this panel on the ASC - Pre admission template appears in the Patient Pre Admission Instructions panel on the ASC templates in the next encounters. Document the Pre-Procedure Care Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template

The Pre-Procedure Care panel on the ASC - Pre admission template enables you to document patient consent, bill of rights, language preferred by the patient to communicate, and pre-procedure care checklist.
