Add Timeout Elements for Ambulatory Surgery

Although all specialties are available in the Specialties list, the preset configurations available on the practice template are applicable only to the Ambulatory Surgery specialty templates.

  1. On the Procedure Timeout Configuration template, click the Specialty field to select Ambulatory Surgery.
  2. Click the Panel field to select a template.

  3. Click the Timeout element field to type a new baseline timeout element for the template selected in the Panel field.
  4. Click Add.
  5. To move the position of the timeout elements in the grid, select a row and click the up or down sorting arrow.
  6. Click Save, and then close the practice template.
